Large 1:35 scale military model collection, predominantly Tamiya, consisting of vintage built models, figures, vehicles, diorama accessories and spare parts. Most of the older material in this collection dates from approximately the 1980s. The lot also includes a more recent Tamiya British Main Battle Tank Challenger 2 (Desertised), item No. 35274, 1:35 Military Miniature Series No. 274. The Challenger 2 is partly assembled and still unpainted. The original box, instruction material and various remaining parts on the sprues are included as shown in the photographs. Tamiya introduced this particular kit in 2004. The remainder of the collection consists of a very large assortment of 1:35 military miniatures and accessories, predominantly older Tamiya material. Among the items visible are: - several dozen painted military figures in many different poses and uniforms - military motorcycles - military trailers - horse and mounted soldier - artillery / anti-tank gun - Sherman tank hull, turret and vehicle parts - weapons, ammunition and equipment - backpacks, crates, barrels and jerry cans - radio and communication equipment - furniture and diorama accessories - telegraph / electricity poles with insulators - numerous small accessories and spare parts - unused parts still attached to sprues - Tamiya Challenger 2 Desertised, No. 35274, with original box The figures and models have clearly been used for modelling and diorama projects over many years. Condition therefore varies considerably. Some pieces are complete, while others are incomplete, damaged, loose, previously glued or show paint wear and signs of age. The completeness of the individual old kits and models has not been checked and cannot be guaranteed. The lot is therefore particularly suitable for the military modeller, restorer or diorama builder looking for a large quantity of genuine period model-building material, figures and spare parts. Please study all photographs carefully. The photographs form an important part of the description and clearly show the contents and condition of the lot. Everything visible in the photographs is included and the lot is sold as-is. The items will be carefully packed for shipping.
