Monet - Gold-plated - Brooch - Golden Key – 1968

Very rare Monet “Golden Key” brooch, 1968 model from the Golden Key Series collection, documented in the reference work devoted to the creations of the Monet house. This brooch depicts an ancient key with an elaborately ornamental design. Its openwork head features symmetric scrolls, topped by a small decorative sphere. The elongated stem combines several textures: a finely granulated surface, raised rings, and a stylized geometric end. The Golden Key collection, launched in 1968, also included a key pendant necklace and miniature earrings. The necklace model is reproduced and dated 1968 in Monet’s historical documentation.
