Molteni - Angelo Mangiarotti - Extending table - 4D...

Elegant dining table model “4D”, designed by Angelo Mangiarotti and produced by Molteni, belonging to the famous 4D series born from Mangiarotti's project of 1966 and later entered into Molteni's catalog. The table features a remarkably minimalist structure, characterized by four architectural-style inclined legs and a rectangular wooden top, composed of two elements that allow a central opening. Once extended, the top grows from 144 to 192 cm, maintaining a depth of 96 cm. The project is particularly representative of Mangiarotti's research into assembly and the construction of elements, where structure, function, and form coincide. The 4D series arises from the idea of finished, interchangeable elements that are easy to assemble, with special angular details that become at once structural and aesthetic elements. The dark wood finish and the clean proportions give the table a typically Italian modernist aesthetics, with a strong architectural and rationalist component, perfectly in line with Italian design of the 1960s and 1970s. The table shows normal signs of wear due to age and use. Measurements: L 144 cm D 96 cm H 72 cm Follow me on Instagram: salottoviennese Shipping via PROFESSIONAL courier.
