Exceptional original drawing on paper by the Catalan master Modest Cuixart, co-founder of the renowned avant-garde group Dau al Set with Antoni Tàpies and Joan Brossa. The piece, dated in his own hand in 1960, presents an elegant and subtle female profile portrait rendered with energetic and spontaneous lines, enriched with delicate touches of color. The Artwork is signed on the front with the artist's classic abbreviated signature ('C. 1960'), a common practice in his sketches on paper from this mature period. Guarantee and Provenance: This lot stands out for its excellent historical traceability, retaining intact on its reverse the official inventory label from an auction house (Lot 304, cataloged for auction on October 24, 2007). This label serves as an invaluable guarantee of authenticity for collectors and investors in the secondary market.
