Minolta A5 rmet Rokkor 2,8/45mm | Rangefinder camera (No reserve price)

Very beautiful and perfectly functioning Minolta A5 rangefinder camera with lens cap and leather camera case. The Minolta A5 was the last of the A5-series rangefinder cameras produced in 1960. The camera has a fixed Minolta Rokkor f2.8/45mm lens that works together with a Citizen shutter with speeds from B, 1 second up to 1/500 second. All shutter speeds work by ear very well from 1/1 sec to 1/500 sec. The B (bulb) setting also works well and the shutter stays fully open as long as the release button is pressed. The diaphragm also works excellently and adjusts smoothly between f/2.8 and f/22. The glass is in pristine condition with no scratches or cleaning marks. There is no fungus either. The rangefinder still works very well and has good and acceptable contrast on the two subfields. The viewfinder image is still very clear. Focusing also works excellently without grinding or sticking. The camera is in very good cosmetic condition with little to no damage. A lens cap (not original) and a leather Minolta camera case are included. Camera with accessories will be securely and carefully packed and shipped with Track & Trace and insurance. NOTE: I ship my goods with Track & Trace number and insurance to prevent possible damage and theft. This shipping cost is more expensive (but safer) and is required for us (sellers) by Catawiki to use. I use Catawiki's "Smart Shipping" tool. It was created after negotiations with several carriers and mail-order companies to achieve better and cheaper shipping costs. Everything happens automatically and I only receive a digital shipping label to print and attach to the package. I also use a one-time fee of €10 that is included in the shipping costs. Included in that are: the time I spend packing, the packing box, the time I spend driving to and from the post office, and a contribution to fuel since my car doesn’t run on water. If you cannot agree with this, please do not place bids. Thank you in advance.
