Fascinating and decorative modular set in Dutch ceramic in the traditional Blue Delft style, bringing together pieces from various renowned 20th-century manufacturers. The set coordinates splendidly both in color tones and in theme, representing a perfect snapshot of Amsterdam's famous canals. The lot comprises 5 pieces in total: Large Rectangular Display Tray – "Oud Delft". Manufacture: Oud Delft (founded by Roelof Elshout, Nijmegen). Details: Decorated in the center with a large traditional windmill in a lakeside landscape. On the back it bears the official underglaze stamp (wheel-shaped potter’s mark with the letters OUD) and the model/series number 893 M. Period: circa 1970–1980. Two Miniature Cottages – "Royal Goedewaagen". Manufacture: Royal Goedewaagen (Gouda, Netherlands), one of the country’s oldest factories (est. 1792). Line: Poly Delft fully hand painted ("Painted by hand"). Subjects: Historical reproductions of the palaces on Amsterdam’s canals Herengracht and Singel. Both carry the original crowned mark on the base. One Miniature Cottage – Edition "Handpainted Dutch House" Subject: Faithful reproduction of the famous historic building at Singel 64 in Amsterdam.
