The dynamic composition depicts the streamlined Acela high-speed train traveling toward Washington, D.C., with stylized silhouettes of the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and U.S. Capitol forming the city skyline. Strong radiating perspective lines, simplified geometric forms, and bold areas of color evoke the elegance of classic 1930s railway posters while presenting a distinctly modern image of high-speed rail travel. Schwab is confirmed as the illustrator of the Amtrak Acela poster campaign, which was produced in a 24 x 36-inch, four-color format. Size: 24" W x 36" H.
