Michel Morin Armagnac, Château d’Uffaut Grande Champagne & Monnet VSOP Fine Champagne – Vintage French Spirits – 3 Bottles A charming set of three vintage French spirits, comprising one Armagnac and two Cognacs, all bottled for the historic Italian market. 1. Armagnac Michel Morin – Réserve Spéciale 70 cl – 42% ABV Appellation Armagnac Contrôlée Michel Morin, Négociant à Bordeaux – Gironde, France Historic Italian-market bottling with original Italian state tax marking. 2. Château d’Uffaut Grande Champagne Cognac Approx. 70 cl – 40% ABV Grande Champagne Cognac from the vineyards of Château d’Uffaut, Saint-Brice, Cognac. The rear label states that the vineyards are situated in the heart of Grande Champagne and that the Cognac was naturally aged in Limousin oak before being bottled in numbered bottles. This bottle is numbered N° 071107. Imported into Italy by Industria Lombarda Liquori Vini Affini S.p.A., Saronno. 3. J.G. Monnet VSOP Fine Champagne Cognac 73 cl – 40% ABV J.G. Monnet & Co., Cognac, France. Historic Italian-market bottling with original Italian state tax marking and distinctive vintage Monnet presentation. All three bottles are believed to date from the 1960s–1970s, although exact bottling dates cannot be confirmed. Condition: The bottles are unopened and present well considering their age. Labels show natural ageing, patina, staining and signs of wear. Capsules and original Italian tax seals are aged and show tears and deterioration, particularly on the Armagnac and Monnet bottles. The Château d’Uffaut label also shows significant ageing and edge wear. The remaining liquid levels appear good, generally around the upper-shoulder area. No obvious leakage is visible. The photographs form an integral part of the description and show the exact bottles offered. The bottles have been properly stored in a cellar and come from a private collection. Please note that the contents of these vintage bottles have not been tested. No guarantee can be given regarding drinkability or the condition of the spirits after several decades.
