The factory-original soft top folds open easily and shows only normal signs of aging. The car also comes with the rare factory-original hardtop in body color. A test with a thickness gauge yielded consistent values and no sign of any reported accident. The undercarriage appears generally solid and very well preserved, with no signs of accidents. INTERIOR The cabin is complete and well preserved, with original seats showing a pleasant, even patina consistent with the age. The dashboard is in good overall condition, albeit with typical cracks due to age and some scuffs. The center console and interior equipment are well preserved, with normal signs of use. Of particular interest is the presence of the rare automatic air conditioning option. The dashboard retains the original instrumentation of the series, as well as the original steering wheel and gear knob. A new overlapped hood is included with the car compatible with the model. Before going on sale, the entire cabin underwent thorough sanitization. MECHANICS The original engine was recently restarted after a long period of inactivity in a private collection, including a revision of the fuel lines and service of the K Jetronic injection, as well as a new battery. The clutch and automatic transmission also function normally. The German TUV technical inspection expired in 2010 and the car records only 52,000 miles, a very low mileage for this type of vehicle.
