ASTROROBOOK BLUE/PASTEL GREEN is a sculpture that reinterprets the geometric figures of the early 1990s robots, created by the iron artist Edoardo Meloni in 2026. The work stems from the idea of making the sculpture functional by turning it into a bookshelf, a side table, a wine bottle rack and a glasses holder. ASTROROBOOK is a unique piece belonging to a limited series, numbered and entirely handmade. In particular, this limited edition has a "JETPACK BACKPACK" and a metal GREEN glasses holder. The "PROPULSORS" mount easily with Allen keys supplied with the sculpture. The main material used is iron, with a proportion of reclaimed material, in order to contribute to sustainability and environmental respect. The statue’s height is 105 cm, the thickness 36 cm and the width 35 cm. The metallized blue color is a special finish that gives it quality and an excellent shine, imparting character and personality. The object is designed to be an excellence-made-in-Italy product, intended to remain intact over time, with particular attention paid to all details. Packaging is an integral part of the work, designed and built to measure for a complete experience that excites the customer. Edoardo Meloni Biography Born in Rome in 1995. Always passionate about working with multiple materials, he discovers in iron his true vocation. He decides to focus on this durable metal for the majority of his production, soon turning it into works of art. Meloni creates original objects, with innovative design, capable of characterizing the environment and making it unique in its own style. His work focuses mainly on the search for lines and essential geometric figures, made with recycled materials of universal and sustainable character, whose versatility adapts to different forms of interior design. Some of his works have been exhibited in design shops in Rome such as D Domus 17 and in contemporary art galleries such as Pavart Roma.
