Modelle von Johann Joachim Kaendler aus den 1750er/60er Jahren, quadratischer Schubkasten aus Holz mit den Maßen 50 x 50 cm, in welchen die 32 Figuren Platz finden, darauf eine Schachplatte aus Porzellan mit der Schwertermarke des späten 20. Jhs. Die Figuren weisen eine Mischform aus zwei Varianten auf, darunter insgesamt 12 Figuren des Spiels mit dem Originaltitel "Türken gegen Mohren": zwei Könige, zwei Königinnen, H je 7 cm, Schwertermarke tlw. unleserl. auf unglasiertem Boden, vier Springer, je mit Schwertermarke und Modellnummer 2859 (1 Springer der "Mohren" besch.); drei Bauern (1 x Modellnummer 2854 und Schwertermarke leserlich, restl. unleserlich) sowie ein Läufer der "Türken" (Schwertermarke verblasst, Modellnummer unleserlich), H 6 cm, je polychrom staffiert und 20 Figuren aus dem Schach "Säulenspiel": je zwei Türme, H 6 cm (2x mit schwarzen Zinnen und Turmspitze und 2 x mit weißen Zinnen und vergoldeter Spitze), sowie 8 "Bauern" mit pinkfarbener Staffage (1 x am oberen Rand besch.) und 8 "Bauern" mit blau- u. pinkfarbener Staffage (1 x min. best.), je Modellnummer 1915 und Knaufschwertermarke, H 5 cm. Bespielt (Vergoldung berieben) und tlw. besch. | MEISSEN Chess Set, 19th/20th century, first-grade quality. Models by Johann Joachim Kaendler from the 1750s/60s, a square wooden drawer measuring 50 x 50 cm, which holds all 32 pieces, topped by a porcelain chessboard bearing the sword mark from the late 20th century. The pieces are a hybrid of two variants, including a total of 12 pieces from the game originally titled “Turks vs. Moors”: two kings, two queens, each 7 cm tall, with the sword mark partially illegible on an unglazed base, four knights, each with a sword mark and model number 2859 (1 knight from the “Moors” marked); three pawns (1 with model number 2854 and a legible sword mark, the rest illegible) as well as a bishop from the “Turks” (sword mark faded, model number illegible), H 6 cm, each polychromatic, and 20 pieces from the “Column Game” chess set: two rooks each, H 6 cm (2 with black battlements and a spire, and 2 with white battlements and a gilded spire), as well as 8 “pawns” with pink decoration (1 marked on the upper edge) and 8 “pawns” with blue and pink decoration (1 with minor damage), each with model number 1915 and a pommel sword mark, H 5 cm.
