MEISSEN OR SAXONY

A pair of white porcelain plates with relief decoration, enhanced with gilding and polychrome painting. The multi-lobed border and the partially reticulated wing feature a straw-motif decoration within reserved areas. The centre of the plate is decorated with a bird flanked by floral garlands. Marked with crossed swords on the reverse. 19th or 20th century. Diameter: 23 cm (wear to the decoration, a few chips, sold as is).
