Medieval bronze pectoral cross. Early Medieval Period 1100-1400 AD. The cross features a shape typical of its era, with trefoil (or petal-shaped) arm terminals symbolizing the Holy Trinity. The surface of the object is decorated with a traditional compass-drawn pattern (small indentations arranged in concentric circles), which in ancient times served not only a decorative purpose but also a profound sacred function as an amulet. A fine natural patina with deep malachite-green hues has been preserved on the surface, attesting to the object's venerable age. The cross is in excellent condition. Its shape is well-preserved, and the suspension loop is intact and functional. The metal is strong.Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
