Exceptional historic ensemble of a complete O-scale railcar set (0 gauge - 32 mm track gauge), including an electric locomotive and twelve wagons/trains of rolling stock. This unique lot brings together authentic original pieces from the two most famous French toy train manufacturers of the mid-20th century: Hornby Series (Meccano Paris) and JEP (Le Jouet de Paris). MOTOR EQUIPMENT: Electric locomotive of type BB SNCF 20V (Hornby Meccano): Flagship model of the 1950s, made of die-cast metal and originally chocolate brown in color. Equipped with its large original electric motor block operating on 20-volt alternating current, a central pick-up under the chassis for a 3-rail system, and a front lighting bulb. The side coupling rods, buffers, and coupler are intact. THE 12 WAGONS AND SELECTION CARS: Dump Wagon with fabric tarp "Maréchal Frères" (Hornby Series): Very rare and sought-after model on a green Hornby chassis. Equipped with its original bulging tarpaulin with legible silkscreen inscription: "Bâches, Tentes & Stores / Maréchal Frères / 103, Rue de la Chapelle, Paris 18". The three inner metal arches for support are intact; one tarpaulin attachment on the wagon is missing. Bi-foudre Wagon "Bordeaux No. 3728" (Hornby Meccano): Iconic advertising wagon equipped with two rounded wine foudres in brown. Black metal chassis with lithographed inscriptions "Wagon Foudre" and "Bordeaux No. 3728". Central metal scale and upper hatches are complete. Brown Dump Wagon "J de P 4685 M" (JEP): Superb pre-war wagon imitating brown/orange wooden slats. The underside of the black metal chassis bears the authentic historical mark stamped in relief: "JEP UNIS FRANCE". Passenger Car "Pullman" (JEP): Splendid green and cream two-tone line passenger car. Presence of original lithographed markings "JEP" and the official UNIS FRANCE industrial guarantee logo on the end face. Suburban Motor/Double Traction Motor Car (JEP): Pre-war model in lithographed green military and cream roof metal. Presence of original end markings with the JEP logo and the UNIS FRANCE stamp. Version with trailer or mechanical missing, axles rotate freely. Platform Wagon with swiveling spare crane (Hornby Series): Entirely steel-bodied in black with a movable blue-gray crane. Presence of the original lithographed inscription "Série Hornby Fab. en France Meccano" under the chassis. Original hand crank present (sold without the lifting hook and the original string). Yellow Frigo Wagon "Société d'Exploitation des Wagons Frigorifiques / PLM" (Hornby Meccano): Covered wagon in colors of the historic Paris-Lyon-Méditerranée network. The yellow silkscreening remains remarkably fresh, with the end marking "Série Hornby Fab. en France Meccano" very clear. Livestock Wagon "France Nord / Hommes 40 - Chevaux 8" (Hornby Meccano): Green and yellow two-tone covered wagon imitating wood slats with ventilator shutters. Magnificent condition of lithographed inscriptions and presence of the original gold Meccano logo. Yellow and green Milk Wagon "France Est / 39215 LE" (Hornby Meccano): Thematic two-tone wagon in good original condition, marked "Wagon à Lait", complete with its white tin plated fretting post on the raised platform. Triple Tank Wagon / Fixed Tarpaulin Load (Hornby Series): Original model equipped with a triple cylindrical dome in red tin, simulating a cargo, mounted on a blue-gray chassis. Gold lithographed original vignette "Série Hornby - Fab. par Meccano Paris" on the side. Red Cylindrical Tank Wagon "Standard" (Hornby Meccano): Bright red gasoline tank with original Meccano Paris circular logos. Grey Dump Wagon with freighting cab (Hornby Meccano): Model equipped with its original gray metal cab on a red chassis. GENERAL CONDITION OF THE COLLECTION: sold as is. The numerous close-up photos are an integral part of the description. Please analyze them carefully to appreciate lithographic details and the condition of the parts.
