A particularly unique ethnological study devoted to popular erotic iconography, explored through adult comic books, photo-novels, and, above all, erotic graffiti photographed in Paris and its suburbs. The book is part of a scholarly series announced by the publisher as dedicated to under-researched topics, with a sociological, ethnological, and folkloric approach. The announced subsequent volumes will focus, in particular, on erotic representations in primitive and prehistoric arts and on obscene folklore. Extensive photographic documentation, some of which was produced specifically for this volume by Clovis Prévost and William McLean. Condition: good condition; cloth binding slightly dusty and dotted with a few small foxing spots; interior well-preserved.
