It relies on the principle of photochemistry. First, a transparent negative or positive of the desired image is produced. This is placed on a coated printing plate and exposed to UV light. Where the light hits the coating, it cures and forms a resistant layer. After exposure, the plate is developed, with the unexposed areas washed away while the hardened layer remains. The plate is then inked and printed on special paper. The Lichtdruck allows for high detail accuracy and tonal reproduction, making it especially suitable for reproducing artworks and photographs. Despite its elaborate production, the Lichtdruck offers exceptional image quality and durability. Shipping information: We roll prints onto stiff laminated cardboard cores, wrap them in corrugated cardboard, and ship them in specially designed, very sturdy boxes. The shipping includes a tracking number for monitoring. - No shipping to the Canary Islands, Taiwan - About us: We have been active in the art trade for over 20 years and have extensive experience in the professional handling and shipping of artworks.
