A0000005880 MAURICE LACROIX AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH WATCH (REF. 03291): We present at auction a highly elegant mechanical chronograph from the Swiss brand Maurice Lacroix, representative of the classic and refined aesthetic that characterized the brand during the 1990s. Classic Dial and Two-Tone Design: The watch stands out for its captivating dark blue dial, which creates an attractive contrast with the three silver sub-dials of the chronograph (arranged at 6, 9 and 12). Time is read through elegant Roman numerals and Breguet-style hands in a gold tone. The stainless steel case is enhanced with a stepped bezel, gold-plated crown and pushers, giving it a sophisticated and versatile appearance. Prestigious Movement: Inside lies a robust and prestigious automatic Swiss chronograph movement (known for using the reliable and durable Valjoux 7750 base), ensuring excellent performance. Condition Report (Expert Review) Bidders are asked to inspect the photo gallery in detail to verify the real condition of the piece: Case and Bezel: The stainless steel case and the gold components are in very good overall condition. They show fine micro-scratches and normal signs of use, but no deep wear to the plating. Crystal and Dial: The dial is in magnificent condition, clean and easily readable. The crystal is in good condition. Case Back: Press-in polished steel back. It shows multiple superficial scratches from use and continual resting on a desk, but all factory engravings (including reference 03291) are clearly legible. Strap: Supplied mounted on a blue textured leather strap (not original to the brand) in very good condition of use, with a steel buckle. Mechanical: Automatic movement is in operation. The chronograph functions start, stop, and reset to zero without issues. (Note: As this is a vintage/neo-vintage collectible watch, original water resistance is not guaranteed and the date of its last service is unknown). Package The watch is excellently accompanied by a luxurious original Maurice Lacroix wooden presentation box. Shipping The item will be carefully protected and securely packed, with insured shipping and an international express tracking number.
