The Baoulé masks are known in African art for the finesse of their features, a mouth projecting forward, and half-closed eyes. Decorative mask The top of the mask is crowned with a headdress decorated with imposing braids. The Baoulé live in the southeast of Ivory Coast. They are part of the Akan group.
