Marlen - Collezione Arte - Il ragazzo Rosso (Goya) |...

A work of art in every stroke: Marlen's ARTE series celebrates the most influential artists in the history of art. The Red Boy (Goya) Marlen's Arte collection welcomes a new masterwork: a fountain pen and roller dedicated to the famous portrait of Francisco Goya, "The Red Boy." A full-length oil portrait painted by Francisco Goya in 1787-88, depicting a three- or four-year-old boy, standing in red clothing, with birds and cats. An iconic work, described by art historian Claus Virch as "one of the most captivating and successful children’s portraits ever painted, and also one of the most famous." Housed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York since 1949. A limited edition, a tribute to Spanish art and artisanal craftsmanship. Available in 5 different colorways, each made in 100 fountain pens and 50 rollers, for a total of 150 pieces, this collection in particular is crafted in swirled brown Italian resin with light veining inside, a nod to the warm and vibrant colors of the painting. On the pen barrel, in quartz, the miniature of the artwork is reproduced, a detail that makes every pen a unique piece. Two decorated rings close it at the ends, adding a touch of elegance. The band on the cap is engraved with the name of the work and the author. At the top of the cap, a disk reproduces the Marlen brand, symbol of quality and craftsmanship. With the "Red Boy" collection, every stroke becomes an artistic experience, a tribute to art and beauty.
