Todas las subastas / Lámparas / Marlen - Cadran Solaire Prestige - Edizione Unica in Argento 925
We present to you this pen, which represents the first and exclusive version of the Cadran Solaire Prestige collection. It is a unique specimen, created specifically for a special project and destined to remain an unrepeatable piece over time. ◘ Unparalleled elegance and luxury The Cadran Solaire Prestige is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship, blending in a sublime way regal splendor and luxury with an original and intriguing design. It is not just a pen, but a cult object, unique of its kind, capable of attracting attention and stirring desire in anyone who loves beauty and rarity. ◘ Precious materials and artisanal workmanship Made in solid silver micro-casting, each individual piece is hand-finished by the expert Marlen goldsmiths. This manual workmanship guarantees extreme precision in details and shapes, giving every pen an exclusive and inimitable character. The presence of three rubies carefully set adds a touch of preciousness and refinement, underscoring attention to the smallest details. ◘ Unique feature: the integrated sundial The most extraordinary feature of this pen is its dual function: in addition to being a high-quality writing instrument, it is also a miniaturized sundial. The solar dial, adapted to the cylindrical shape of the pen, shows the hours of the day and the constellations, thus uniting science, art and history in a single object. Around the upper butt, the initials of the 12 months are engraved, from which vertical lines extend indicating the zodiac signs, creating a symbolic connection between solar time and the astrological calendar. ◘ How to use the sundial To use the sundial function, hold the pen in a vertical position and open the horizontal gnomon at 90° relative to the barrel, which serves as the dial. The three spheres of the gnomon (in silver) correspond to three latitude points (40°, 45°, 50°), highlighted by the rubies, thus allowing the solar time reading to be adapted based on geographical location. ◘ Symbolism and engraved art Near the grip, a bas-relief engraving bears the phrase “EN GIRO TORTE SOL CICLOS ET ROTOR IGNE,” readable from both sides, symbolizing the infinite solar cycle of the seasons, a poetic and philosophical reminder of time and nature. At the ends of the pen, the cap and the end cap, are raised-relief engraved with sun and compass motifs, the supreme expression of Marlen’s goldsmith art, which fuses functionality and aesthetic beauty. ◘ Finishing materials and packaging The grip is made of gray veined cellulose acetate, a precious material that gives a pleasant feel to the touch and an elegant appearance. The pen is presented in a refined wooden box, which underscores its importance and preciousness. Inside the package you will also find the warranty certificate, attesting to its authenticity, and a marble display stand, perfect for proudly displaying this extraordinary object. The Cadran Solaire Prestige is not just a pen, but a symbol of artisanal excellence, a collectible object that combines luxury, history, science and art. It is designed for those who wish to own something truly rare and fascinating, capable of telling a story and offering a unique experience, both in writing and in observing solar time.
