Marlen Ancient Italian Cities: Florence ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Marlen dedicates this collection to Florence, the capital of Tuscany, cradle of the Italian Renaissance art and culture, which over the centuries has kept its charm intact. Home to one of the world's most important museums, the majestic Uffizi Gallery, it fascinates with its architectural treasures, historic churches, art galleries rich with masterpieces, and the romantic bridges that cross the Arno. The banks of the Florentine river offer splendid views, and around them rise the magical Tuscan hills. Here the artistic heritage is unmatched, or nearly so, in the world. Florence ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ It has been the cradle of the Renaissance and the global capital of art in the Quattrocento. It boasts one of the historic centers and some of the most famous museums in the world. All around it there is one of the most iconic and characteristic landscapes on the planet. In Florence everything is spectacular: from the workshops to the streets that lead up to the hills just beyond the tourist areas, from the authentic, popular neighborhoods that spring up just outside the historic center, to the monuments that tell its soul. Florence is an open-air art gallery... The collection ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Florence collection features a clip specially designed to reproduce the splendor of ancient marble columns. The cap and the shaft of these writing instruments are handmade, in blue Italian resin, turned from solid bar. The large ring on the shaft, instead, reproduces the lily, the symbol of the city, and the Ponte Vecchio, the quintessential bridge of Florence.
