Mark Sugar - Shark, Red

A Mark Sugar work from 2026 titled "Shark, Red" from the new series "Survival". "Shark" explores the tension between freedom and constraint, matter and movement suspended in time. Other works are present in various locations and private galleries in New York, London, Milan, Florence, Siena, Amsterdam, Brussels, Antwerp, Paris, Hong Kong, Geneva, Lugano, Rome, Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta, Bergamo and Brescia. In 2018 she presents "Shoes, Lamps & Hearts" at Yotel New York Times Square in Manhattan, United States. She collaborates with photographer Lena Di on the project "A Photographic Project Dedicated to the Sculpture 'Womantree'." In January 2019 she exhibits "Sugarheart in Mondrian London" at the Sea Containers in London. In September 2019 she participates in the Cactus Revolution exhibition at "Arti Fluide" at Villa Borromeo, Milan. In October 2019 she exhibits at the show "The Chemical Project" at Palazzo Facchi, a historic residence in Brescia. In September 2020 she participates in the collective exhibition "Camera with a View of Brescia" at Hotel Vittoria. In October 2021 she participates in the collective exhibition "The Dreamers of Brixia" at Palazzo Facchi, a historic residence in Brescia. In April 2023 she is present at the exhibition "Contemporaneamente" in Bergamo, on the occasion of "Brescia & Bergamo Capital of Culture 2023". From June 1 to August 30, 2023 she is present at Forte Village Resort in Sardinia, at the Art Events Mazzoleni gallery. In January 2024 she is present at BAF in Bergamo. From April 8 to May 31, 2024 she exhibits at the international event "Biennale d'Arte di Vigevano". In March 2025 she participates in Art Parma Fair, Expo Arte Montichiari and Cremona Art Fair. In May 2025 she takes part in the event "Milano Scultura 2025" at Villa Bagatti Valsecchi. From September 24 to 30, 2025 she exhibits at the show "Mythos" at the Palazzo Bellini Gallery in Florence. In March 2026 she participates in Art Parma Fair and Expo Arte Montichiari. Each work is hand-signed with a corresponding certificate of authenticity. The work has already been exhibited at Palazzo Facchi Dimora Storica in Brescia and at the Soul Light Design gallery in Desenzano. Technique: sand, polylactic acid, iron, resin and acrylic; dimensions 25x12x12 cm.
