He completed his artistic studies at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios Artísticos and at the Barcelona School of Fine Arts. He also trained in Advertising and Marketing, initially developing his professional career in major companies and agencies in Barcelona, Madrid and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. During this period he balanced his advertising work with painting, taking part in exhibitions in various cities in Europe and America. In 1975 he returned to Barcelona and decided to devote himself exclusively to artistic creation, establishing studios in Barcelona, Madrid and Ibiza. His output is characterized by a figurative style tending toward realism, with particular attention to drawing, composition, and the psychological expression of his subjects. Among his favored themes are portraits, female figures, nudes, and scenes of fishermen and workers of the Mediterranean. He worked mainly with pastel, although he also used oil, watercolor, graphite, sanguine, and sepia. His compositions stand out for the delicacy of the stroke, chromatic sensitivity, and the expressive treatment of the human figure. Throughout his career he portrayed personalities from social, intellectual and artistic circles. His works are part of private collections and galleries in Spain, other European countries and various American countries, such as Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela and the United States. His painting received favorable comments from critics such as Francisco Galí and Fernando Gutiérrez, who highlighted his mastery of drawing and his ability to convey the personality and sensitivity of the models depicted.
