Manifattura Italiana - Steps - A four-step ladder for the...

Beautiful step ladder for a library or bookcase, produced in Italy around the 1960s. In perfect English country house style, it can be placed beside a bookcase but can also be used as a multi-level plant stand. A refined and elegant object, increasingly sought-after and increasingly difficult to find. Entirely crafted in turned and shaped wood, with sturdy solid wood steps. The frame and the pivot handrail are also in solid wood. The handrail unscrews so it can be stored in a smaller space. Esthetically preserved in excellent vintage condition, it shows slight signs of age and use highlighted in the photos, which are an integral part of the description. It has a beautiful patina of time over the entire surface. Measurements: 125.5 x 49 x 49 cm.
