Todas las subastas / Etnográfica / Manchurian crane Taxidermy full body mount - Grus...
MANCHURIAN CRANE (Grus japonensis) A life-size, imposing and majestic specimen of the Manchurian Crane, also known as the Japanese Crane, mounted in a poised, upright display. The plumage is in excellent condition, exhibiting the typical snow-white body in stark contrast with the deep black that covers the neck, part of the face, and the long remiges that drape onto the tail. At the top of the head, the distinctive red "crown" stands out vividly. The long pale beak and the long dark legs are intact and positioned realistically, imparting vigor to the figure. The piece rests steadily on an irregular, artificial naturalistic base that reproduces a dark rocky or earthy substrate. Conditions: Museum-quality taxidermy, with clean, bright plumage closely adherent to the body. Support: Solid rustic artificial base, proportioned to the animal’s large size. The buyer is responsible for verifying the import authorization of an object, as well as the duties and taxes to be paid at the time of import. Therefore, it is required to check for any specific import rules applicable to bringing an object into your country. The regulations may concern import bans and licenses, as well as rules on customs duties, VAT, excise duties, and clearance costs.
