This bracelet is made of natural malachite beads cut into faceted cubes, in a palette of deep greens ranging from bright turquoise to forest green, crossed by the characteristic darker concentric bands that are the signature of this stone. The multiple facets catch the light and bring out the velvety quality inherent to malachite. Malachite, the stone of transformation par excellence, is traditionally associated with protection and the release of emotional blockages. It is believed to absorb negative energies and to encourage bold decision-making, like a verdant shield against undesirable influences. Malachite, a copper carbonate with unique sinuous patterns, derives its name from the Greek molochitis, in reference to the mauve leaf.
