▐ Maita Pen Collection dedicated to Marco Polo Maita is proud to present an exclusive collection of pens dedicated to Marco Polo, the merchant, traveler, and explorer who left an indelible mark on European history. His fame is closely tied to the success of his work The Travels of Marco Polo, a detailed account of his journeys between 1271 and 1295, regarded as a masterpiece of travel literature. The collection is crafted in fine Italian resin, turned from solid stock, to guarantee a high-quality and durable product. On the large ring on the barrel, the relief portrait of Marco Polo is engraved, along with a map and the explorer’s birth (1254) and death (1324) dates. These details celebrate his life and his incredible adventures. On the large cap band, the map of his travels is engraved together with the inscription “Marco Polo Venetian,” to emphasize his origins and his connection to Venice. Both rings are made of 925 silver with an oxidized and satin finish, giving a charming “well-loved” effect that tells the story. On the silver clip, a relief map of his journeys is fixed, another nod to his epochal explorations. This collection is not merely a series of pens, but a tribute to Marco Polo and to his contribution to culture and knowledge of the world. It embodies the spirit of adventure and curiosity that characterized his explorations, making him one of the greatest travelers in history. The pen is perfect for those who wish to carry with them the inspiration and legacy of Marco Polo, a symbol of exploration and discovery that continues to ignite a desire for adventures around the world. ▐ Technical specifications and details □ Fountain pen □ Limited Edition of 324 pieces □ Manufacturer: Maita □ Country of origin: Italy □ Materials: Italian resin and silver ▐ Dimensions □ Pen length: 125 mm □ Length with cap “posted”: 165 mm □ Length with cap (capped): 142 mm □ Max/min diameter: 14 / 16 mm ▐ Filling and Nib □ Filling: converter and/or cartridge □ Nib material: stainless steel □ Nib size: medium (M)* *a nib size Extrafine, Fine or Broad can be mounted on request. ▐ Conditions □ Pen new, with elegant packaging and warranty certificate ▐ Shipping □ Express courier ▐ INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY □ All Maita writing instruments are covered by a 3-year warranty against all material and manufacturing defects.
