Some pieces of jewellery are striking but clunky. Others are so extraordinary that they can completely transform the wearer’s appearance. This extraordinary diamond bracelet falls into the second category. With a width of about five centimeters, it wraps around the wrist like a precious cuff of light. Its magic, however, lies not only in its size but also in its design. A total of 270 brilliant-cut diamonds, weighing approximately 45.00 carats, were individually set and connected by flexible bars. Round and square settings alternate in a playful rhythm. Despite weighing more than one hundred grams, the bracelet possesses an astonishing suppleness. It nestles against the wrist like a precious fabric and moves with every gesture, no matter how slight, of the woman wearing it. It almost seems as if this band were woven from diamonds. The clasp is so skillfully incorporated that it is nearly invisible when worn. Its design is reminiscent of nine classic tennis bracelets fused into a single, perfectly harmonious composition. Light dances ceaselessly across the luxurious diamond surface, creating ever-changing flashes of brilliance, while the bracelet wraps almost weightlessly around the wrist. It is precisely this combination of technical sophistication and overwhelming elegance that makes the design so extraordinary. The high-karat white gold takes a complete back seat to the brilliance of the diamonds. All that remains visible is a shimmering sea of light, whose effect is reminiscent of haute couture creations: flowing, vibrant, and of perfect lightness. This piece of jewellery, which came to us from an impressive collection in Stuttgart, is delivered with a detailed appraisal from Vienna.
