Luc Best - Luc Best – Porsche 917 – Le Mans Racing Legend – Limited Edition

Luc Best – Porsche 917 – Le Mans Racing Legend – Limited Edition The Porsche 917 is more than a racing car. It is one of the defining machines of international motorsport history. Developed for endurance racing and forever associated with Le Mans, the 917 became a symbol of technical ambition, extraordinary speed and the heroic era of long-distance racing. Luc Best places the car at the centre of a powerful contemporary composition. The low perspective and strong frontal presence emphasise the sculptural form of the vehicle, while the expressive background creates movement and visual tension. Instead of producing a conventional automotive illustration, Best transforms the racing car into a cultural icon – a meeting point between engineering, design, competition and Pop Art. Technique: Fine Art Giclée Paper: Premium museum-quality paper Image size: approx. 30 × 30 cm on A3+ sheet Edition: Limited to 25 copies + 3 Artist Proofs Authentication: Individually hand-signed and numbered by Luc Best; certificate included. A strong collector’s piece for enthusiasts of Porsche, Le Mans, historic motorsport and contemporary automotive art. Luc Best has worked for decades in visual media and today concentrates on contemporary art, automotive culture and Pop Art.
