Louis Zwiebel - Beam scale (2) - Gilt brass

Kitchen set from the late 19th century comprising a small antique balance scale (1 kg capacity) in cast iron with brass pans and complemented by small brass weights. We have the regulatory markings affixed to the scale, so it was in use. We accompany the scale with a complete set of weights from Louis Zwiebel (LZ) of Saverne, Alsace. This esteemed firm is one of the largest manufacturers of brass weights.
