Lotto di 2 Fermacarte d'Arte Vintage in Vetro Massiccio –...

For sale: an elegant lot consisting of two art glass paperweights, solid glass, worked and hand-blown, dating to the second half of the 20th century. 1. Large Paperweight – Marine Scene / Aquarium Typology and Technique: Transparent thick glass with a hot-inlaid figurative depiction representing a natural marine environment. Inside are modeled tropical fish and anemones in blue, yellow, and white tones, resting on a light sandy seabed with air bubbles (bullicative effect). Base: Ground and hand-flattened with a satin circular finish to ensure stability and eliminate the edge where the pontello would stand out. Dimensions: Diameter approx. 10 cm. Weight: 1,033 g. Notes on the piece: Shows a very small superficial chip (micro-chip). 2. Small Paperweight – Star Motif / Murrine Typology and Technique: Internal full-field work with glass canes (murrine) with star-shaped cross-sections in yellow/cream tones on an emerald green background, interspersed with a dense network of controlled air bubbles. Base: Ground, matte and satin-finished bottom by hand. Dimensions: Diameter approx. 6 cm, height approx. 4.5–5 cm. Weight: 225 g. Conservation Conditions: The small paperweight is in overall excellent condition. The large paperweight is in good condition overall but, for maximum transparency to buyers, I note a very tiny chip on the glass. Both pieces show minimal, typical signs of resting on the satinized base, entirely consistent with the era and decorative use. Please carefully view the attached photo gallery, including measurements and weights weighed on a precision scale, which forms an essential part of the description. Shipping and Packaging: Given the delicacy and total weight of the glass (over 1.2 kg), the items will be packed with reinforced professional multi-layer anti-shock packaging. Fast, trackable shipping with express courier.
