Ferrari 500 Mondial Berlinetta Pininfarina (1954) – Looksmart 1/43 (Ref. LS166B) – Absolute Historical Rarity New Condition ("Shelf New") HISTORY AND DETAILS OF THE REAL MODEL: The Ferrari 500 Mondial is one of the masterpieces of Maranello’s Golden Age, named in honor of Alberto Ascari’s Formula 1 World Championship titles. While most 500 Mondials were racing barchettas (Scaglietti), Pininfarina sculpted a handful of absolutely elegant Berlinettas (coupe). The livery chosen for this LS166B reference is factory Metallic Gray, highlighting the timeless purity of its aerodynamic 1950s lines. Under its long hood lies a mechanical architecture of genius: the famous 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine (1,985 cm³) with double overhead camshafts, fed by two enormous Weber carburetors. Developing 170 horsepower for a light weight of about 720 kg, this icon could exceed 235 km/h. A monument in automotive history. EXCEPTIONAL RARITY & ABSOLUTE MINT IN BOX Attention to the most uncompromising collectors of Scuderia, investors and purists of historic models: you face a truly rare opportunity. This Looksmart-signatured historical masterpiece reproducing the sumptuous Ferrari 500 Mondial Berlinetta bodied by Pininfarina in 1954 is presented in exceptional mint condition. • Absolute rarity ("Sold Out"): This specific LS166B reference was issued in ultra-limited quantities at its release in June 2006. It is definitively sold out and unobtainable in stores for two decades. A model from this historic lineage of such rarity virtually never appears on the market. • Clinical preservation history: This model comes from the private collection of a meticulous adult Ferrari enthusiast. It has never been displayed, never handled and has remained rigorously protected from light, UV, and dust. • Absolute "Non-Smoker" guarantee: The die-cast model as well as its packaging come from a strictly smoke-free environment. No residual odor or tobacco yellowing, preserving the absolute purity of the original materials. • Exclusive first unboxing: The miniature was removed from its original packaging only once, solely to take photos for this listing. It was reinserted into its case immediately after the shoot. • Pristine display case: The original box, the high-end display stand with name plaque and the plexiglass dome are in mint stock condition. Important note about the photos: The detailed shots attest to the model’s impeccable condition. The few bright lines or whitish reflections visible on the plexiglass or the gray body are solely due to light refraction during the studio shoot. The model has no scratches or alterations. EXCELLENCE OF LOOKSMART & MATERIAL QUALITY: The Italian brand Looksmart is the grail of top-tier 1/43 for discerning collectors. • Prestige Material: An exceptional model fully handcrafted in high-quality resin. This surgical process delivers razor-sharp edges, microscopic wipers, exceptionally fine spoke wheels and photochemical perforated intakes impossible to achieve with mass-produced metal (Die-Cast). • Guaranteed Authenticity: This product benefits from the Official Ferrari License. The packaging bears the official logos as well as the numbered security hologram certifying the piece’s perfect compliance as a collector’s item. ULTRA-SECURE SHIPMENT Because excellence extends to delivery, shipping will be handled to professional standards: • Packaging: The miniature and its box will be protected by multiple layers of thick bubble wrap. • Packaging: Optimal cushioning in a rigid double-wall carton to eliminate any internal movement during transport. • Shipping: Fast shipment with international tracking number and appropriate insurance included to match the value of this exceptional model.
