Status: Excellent inking; good condition with slight traces of foxing and browning; Support: Lightweight paper, affixed to a frame, small adhesive patches on the back, and a small loss, as shown in the photo; Shipping: INSURED shipment via Bartolini/DPD courier. Otherwise, it will not be possible to initiate the insurance reimbursement procedure. Provenance: from a private collection; Lodewijk de Deyster (circa 1656 – 18 December 1711) was a draftsman, etcher, engraver, and maker of musical instruments—a Flemish instrument maker. He painted biblical subjects and portraits. His Baroque paintings show a clear influence from Italian masters such as Giordano, Maratta, Barocci, and Flemish painters such as Peter Paul Rubens, Anthony van Dyck, and Jan Boeckhorst. He was also a textile merchant.
