Artist details can be found in the certificate template on the lot’s photographs. The nature of the technique I use makes every piece in the series a unique, unrepeatable work. The measurements may vary slightly. The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters of the way by a hollowed portion. I consider this piece a vindication of the Self against the trials of existence, but also an innate longing upward. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter becoming spirit. The hollowed portion that breaks the ascent of form toward the peak is characterized as a set of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
