The armrests are turned into balusters, and the flat backrests are topped with double-curved pediments surmounted by a palmette. Stamped ‘Georges-Alphonse Jacob’, known as Jacob-Desmalter, beneath the rear crossbars. Restoration period. Retrofitted with black fabric upholstery. Armchair: Height: 104 cm – Width: 60 cm – Depth: 48 cm. Chairs: Height: 94 cm – Width: 49 cm – Depth: 6 cm. (A few cracks, restorations) Swietenia mahagoni (II/B). Pre-Convention piece.
