Lineol - Toy soldier - 1940-1950 - Germany

Description of the Object Fascinating collectible lot composed of 8 military figurines (3 LINEOL, 2 ELASTOLIN, 2 unmarked and 1 Italian) 1 model of a combat horse (LINEOL) and 1 historical cannon model, dating approximately to the mid-20th century (pre-war/war period). The figures are made in the classic composition paste (Masse) with a metal wire core, a technique typical of the famous German manufactories such as Lineol and Elastolin. The lot stands out for the variety of subjects and includes a rare Scottish soldier (Highlander) in multicolored kilt, soldiers in dynamic combat positions (assault, lookout with binoculars, officer with sword), infantry troops, an ordnance horse and a detailed field artillery cannon in metal with working wheels.
