Liliana Rago (XX) - "Vitrail" - Artist's Proof (A.P.) - 1986 Description / Description of the lot Superb original print by the artist Liliana Rago, titled "Vitrail" (Stained Glass), created in 1986. This abstract work captivates the eye with its dynamic, geometric composition. Wide bands of a deep brick red intersect with slender beams of a luminous yellow, evoking the metallic structure and the facets of light of a stained-glass window. The lavender-blue-gray background hosts delicate, black, slender, organic motifs. The rich texture and depth of color bear witness to a remarkable mastery of printmaking techniques (etching / aquatint). Details and handwritten pencil inscriptions: • Bottom left: Marked e. a. for Artist's Proof (a confidential, artist-only printing, off-sale, numbered). • Center: Titled Vitrail by the artist. • Bottom right: Signed Rago and dated 1986. • Top left margin: Includes an intimate and affectionate dedication in the artist's own hand: "Pour Élise with all my affection Dec 90". Dimensions: • With frame: 42 cm (Height) x 52 cm (Width) • Without frame (image area / plate): 25 cm (Height) x 37 cm (Width) Condition: Very good overall condition. The colors have retained all their original freshness and intensity.
