Leonetto Cappiello - Chocolat Klaus – Manifesto Pubblicitario - 1970s

Splendid advertising poster inspired by one of the most famous masterpieces by Leonetto Cappiello, the absolute master of international billposting and the father of the modern advertising poster. Note: This is a later edition probably from the 1970s. The work depicts the elegant Amazon in a long green dress riding a lively red horse, one of the most iconic images associated with the advertising of the famous Chocolat Klaus. The contrast between the black background and the vibrant colors gives the poster extraordinary visual strength, making it still today one of the subjects most sought after by collectors of vintage affiches. A poster of great decorative impact, perfect for spaces in Art Nouveau, Belle Époque, French design and collections dedicated to historic advertising. The composition magnificently represents the graphic innovation introduced by Cappiello, characterized by dynamic figures, vibrant colors and immediate recognizability. !!!
