Werk in sehr gutem, optischem Zustand. Durchmesser ca. 55mm, gemessen ohne Krone und Bügel. | Le Locle "School Pocket Watch" with Chronograph, Full Calendar, Quarter Repeater from 1911 Savonnette case made entirely of 900 silver with a unique, nielloed engraving depicting allegories of various crafts, featuring Art Nouveau floral motifs extending all the way to the edge of the case. Both the front and back covers feature a free-form cartouche—the front cover is rose-gold plated. Based on the silver hallmark, it originates from Le Locle; it is clearly and unambiguously dated on the inside and is therefore to be regarded as a graduation watch from the “École d’Horlogerie Le Locle.” The movement, featuring a 1/5-second chronograph, full calendar, and quarter-repeater, runs with good accuracy (+6 s/d, 269° amplitude). The repeater strikes beautifully and precisely. The date changes reliably but does so around 4 o’clock. White, hand-painted enamel dial with Roman numerals and four sub-dials for the full calendar and small seconds. Blued pear-shaped hands. Case in very good condition with slight signs of wear. Dial and hands in very good original condition without damage. Movement in very good visual condition. Diameter approx. 55 mm, measured without crown and lugs.
