Laukaan Puu - Ilmari Tapiovaara - Chair (5) - Pirkka - Pinewood - early edition

Iconic dining chairs, model Pirkka, designed by Finnish interior architect Ilmari Tapiovaara and manufactured by Laukaan Puu in the 1950s. The 4+1 (5 pieces) chairs are made of high-quality spruce and feature a beautiful brown finish and black lacquered legs. Beautiful craftsmanship with gracefully designed components and sturdy mortise-and-tenon joints. Early edition and original labeled mid-century set. Nice set together with the restored dining table (advertisement concerns only the chairs!). Condition: Good vintage condition. The chairs show signs of use. The sturdiness is okay, but there is some slight play in the joints here and there. One chair has a light crack at the location of the leg and the seat (see photo). The legs have been refinished at the ends. Dimensions: Width 37.5 cm, depth 43 cm, height 75 cm, seat height 42.5 cm Shipping: The chairs can be shipped. The shipping costs are indicative. The final price will be determined after purchase. Please note additional packaging costs for shipments outside Europe.
