Chinese Imari porcelain charger plate –China- Qianlong period On offer is a large Chinese porcelain plate with a detailed décor in the Imari pattern, consisting of peony flowers with a symbolic meaning in China. Peony symbolizes wealth and prosperity. Further also decorated with some bamboo branches. Nice gold-ochre glazed rim (jia mangkou). Provenance: From a private Dutch collection. Date: Early Qianlong period 1736-1795, ca. 1740-1750. Size: This plate measures 26,4 cm across. Condition: In excellent original condition without damage! No chips, no hairlines, no restoration!
