Lalique "Happy & Heggie", pair of sleeping cats in crystal. Group of two Persian cats lying against each other in frosted satin crystal (the typical Lalique polished/matte contrast), finely hand-carved fur details, ears upright, lazy pose. L 15 cm, base 15 × 8 cm, H 5.5 cm. Signature “Lalique France” engraved in cursive under the base. Identification: model “Happy & Heggie”, ref. 1179800, created in 1995, issued in satin- frosted molded crystal after the war (Marc/Marie-Claude Lalique era); the engraving “Lalique France” at the tip under the base is the signature of these modern editions.
