Todas las subastas / Cristal / Lalique - René Lalique - Figure (2) - Crystal
Pair of nude crystal dancers signed Lalique France Elegant pair of sculpted-crystal figurines, satin-finished and transparent, portraying two nude dancers captured in a movement of great fluidity. Through the purity of their line, the softness of their modeling, and the harmony of their poses, these figures refine the emblematic Lalique aesthetics, where light embraces the material to reveal all its sensuality. Each figure rests on a base forming a crystal jet, whose transparency subtly contrasts with the satin finish of the bodies. One, arms raised, unfolds a supple and enveloping silhouette; the other, with one arm lowered, offers a more elongated and aerial balance. Shown together, they form a pair with a strong decorative presence, both poetic, luminous, and perfectly balanced. The quality of the crystal work, the play between frosted and transparent surfaces, and the finesse of the silhouettes confer this set a precious character that is immediately recognizable. Signed Lalique France, these two sculptures make a choice pair for the admirer of French crystal, 20th‑century decorative arts, and showroom objects of timeless elegance. A refined composition, ideal for a console, a library, or a display case, where it will fully deploy its decorative power and the subtlety of its light effects. Images are part of the description.
