Labuan 1880-82 Watermark Crown CC Covers 1881 (4 Dec.) linen-backed envelope ex the "Pollock" correspondence from Sandakan to London, bearing 10c. brown tied by black circle of dots (Proud Type K1), showing Labuan c.d.s. (Type D4, over eight months earlier than recorded) in opposite corner with arrival datestamp (9.1) on reverse; the envelope with part of flap torn away. A very early and rare franking from North Borneo prior to the issue of its first stamps. R.P.S. Certificate (2022). S.G. 8.
