Content: The work classifies and describes the affections according to the clinical knowledge at the very beginning of the 19th century: • Lesions and skin diseases: Affections of the skin, mucous membranes, and subcutaneous tissues. • Traumas and wounds: Burns, ulcers, and tumors. • Local infectious diseases: Inflammatory and infectious manifestations visible.
