KW Kamera-Werkstätten Praktina IIA + CZ Tessar 2,8/50mm | Analogue camera

Up for auction: a classic and sturdy vintage 35mm SLR—the Praktina IIA, produced in Germany (GDR) at the historic KW Dresden plants toward the end of the 1950s. The lot shows good overall condition, fully functional, and is complete with its front objective lens cap. Optics. The original Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm f/2.8 lens presents structurally intact lenses and is free of scratches. For utmost accuracy, note a physiological presence of light internal dust specks due to age—a natural vintage detail that in no way compromises shooting or image sharpness. Mechanical. The lot has been tested and is functioning. Aesthetics. Good overall condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The solid and hefty metal body retains a good visual impact, with chrome finishes free of structural knocks, displaying the classic and normal signs of time and handling.
