Kutani Kiseru Mouthpiece (Suikuchi) - Porcelain - Japan...

A rare set of three porcelain mouthpieces (Suikuchi) for a traditional Japanese kiseru tobacco pipe. These refined luxury objects were produced in the famous Kutani region during the Meiji period (1868-1912). Each piece features vivid, thick enamel glazes with high-quality raised-relief decoration (taka-uki-bori). The mouthpieces depict a dragon in clouds, a pagoda landscape, and birds. Two of the objects are marked Kutani (九谷). Dimensions: 78 x 18 x 14 mm / 70 x 18 x 14 mm / 68 x 15 x 14 mm. The condition is good; the mouthpieces are like new.
