Kohm & Haller (1910-1915) - Art Nouveau - Germany - 800 silver - Pendant

Beautiful antique German silver Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) pendant in the shape of a detailed rose. A design by the silversmith Kohm & Haller. Kohm & Haller was a leading German silverware and jewelry manufacturer active during the flourishing period of Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) and early Art Deco. The company was located in the famous 'golden city' Pforzheim, the absolute historical center of the German jewelry industry. These pendants were made using a so-called repoussé die, giving the rose a beautiful three-dimensional depth while the piece remains internally hollow and therefore comfortably light in weight. Equipped with silver mark "800" and master mark (faded). Length is 6.0 cm. Width of brooch is 3.8 cm. Weight is 8.42 grams. After decades of careful collecting I have decided to part with (part of) my collection. I want these special objects to have a place with a new enthusiast who understands the value of historical preservation. It is time these pieces receive the attention they deserve, so they can be preserved for the distant future as well. I ensure an extremely careful packaging and insured shipping.
