A German Jugend silver pillar candle holder, top as a pourer, baluster stem and domed foot, everywhere chased with flowers and cast with open floral and leaf motifs, on four legs. Koch & Bergfeld, Bremen c. 1900, fineness 828, production number 34637. Retailed by Vilhelm Christesen, Copenhagen 1900. Weight 1,297 g. H. 40 cm. Removable top for smaller block candles. With three silver pieces, a metal piece and a later glass bowl, the pillar candle holder can be converted into a centrepiece with or without a candle holder. (7)
