Kobalt - Fight Democracy - General Trumpkovic (Galaxy propaganda series)

About the series "Galaxy Propaganda" In Galaxy Propaganda, Kobalt invents a language that nobody speaks, not even himself. An improbable blend of gravity-defying Cyrillic and Martian calligraphy vaguely Asian, this writing is supposed to be the most spoken in neighboring galaxies… No point trying to translate it: it says nothing, but it says it beautifully. A cosmic wink at a communication from very, very far away, or just from another imaginary world. Biography: Kobalt, born in Paris in 1970, embodies the journey of a polymorphic artist whose creativity has unfolded from electronic music to contemporary graphic art. Coming from a family where art was already present thanks to his father, a draftsman, Kobalt discovered very early his first passion, music creation. This passion guides him in his youth, and his early talents lead him to make a bold decision: to invest the money intended to fund his higher education to invest it in creating his first album. Distributed by EMI, the album did not meet the expected success, but it marks the beginning of a richly experimental artistic career. Alongside his musical career, Kobalt enters the advertising world as a copywriter for the iconic Playboy magazine. For many years, he applies his creativity to the publication by creating and producing Playboy’s advertising campaigns. The turning point in his career comes in 2005 when he becomes a cinematographer, thus exploring a new facet of the visual world. In 2007, he discovers a passion for photography, adding another artistic string to his bow. In 2010, he successfully founds his own photography agency, spotlighting his entrepreneurial spirit. In 2017, Kobalt makes a radical choice to sell his agency to fully embrace graphic art, influenced by his son, who has become a major figure in world street art. A pioneer of computer-assisted artistic creation, Kobalt stands out with more than 3000 works sold in galleries and online to date. His artistic approach is marked by bold use of humor, provocation, and anachronisms, with a particular penchant for reappropriating magazine covers—a style that makes him instantly recognizable. Despite the digital era, Kobalt has chosen to stay off social networks, preserving a certain privacy. Today, he uses all available digital tools to bring his creations to life, continuing to push the boundaries of artistic expression with a subtle blend of inspiration, innovation, and humor.
